Los últimos 15 años de Ignacio se han desarrollado en el liderazgo internacional de diversos proyectos en el área de restauración y hostelería, entre los que destacan cargos y empresas como; Director General de Restauración y enoturismo en el grupo Osborne, Director Corporativo de alimentos y bebidas de EMEA de la cadena de hoteles Meliá entre otros.
Pero la vena del aprendizaje y la enseñanza, siempre latente, le llevó a acompañar estos cargos de un extra, el papel de docente. Pues Torriente ha ejercido de profesor adjunto en distintas escuelas de negocio y ponente en foros especializados de gastronomía.
Su formación ha sido muy completa, pues es Licenciado en Ciencias Económicas y Empresariales por la Universidad de Santander, Licenciado en Gestión hotelera y Turismo por el Centro Internacional de Glion en Montreux (Suiza) y PDD por el IESE. “Vencer la cultura de más de lo mismo”, y su pasión por las personas y los equipos le ha llevado lograr la acreditación de coach ejecutivo por la Escuela Europea de Coaching.
